Charity loves sunflowers, coffee and Jesus. She works at a retirement home helping those who can’t help themselves. She’s currently saving up money to finish nursing school and hopes to someday be an RN.
Q: If you could tell your 18-year-old self anything, what would it be?
A: Don’t overthink things. It’s not worth it and those things you’re probably overthinking won’t matter a year from now.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time?
A: I enjoy reading new books and writing for my blog. I also love to exercise, namely running, when I have spare time. My absolute favorite thing in the world is baking. I love spending my spare time baking for other people and seeing others enjoy my hard work. (Even though it’s not that difficult for me to whip up some cupcakes or a chocolate peanut butter pie.)
Q: If you could change one thing about your financial state, what would it be?
A: I would like to be able to put more money away into my savings and get better with budgeting my money. I want to start the 10-20-70 budget plan, where you tithe 10%, save 20% and live off of 70% of your paycheck.
